Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Fire Fighting Draughtsman for a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and layouts for fire prevention and protection systems, including hydrants, sprinkler systems, and fire suppression systems. Responsibilities involve collaborating closely with project teams to ensure compliance with safety standards, revising drawings based on project updates, and providing critical input during project planning and execution. The Fire Fighting Draughtsman will also ensure that designs are optimized for functionality, efficiency, and adherence to local safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in designing and understanding Fire Prevention and Fire Safety systems
- Knowledge of Fire Suppression Systems and Fire Protection standards
- Background in Life Safety and its application in fire protection design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Excellent attention to detail and understanding of fire safety regulations
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in fire protection or related industries is an advantage
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a recognized certification in drafting/design
