About The Role
We are seeking experienced
Fircosoft Developers (IT) with
2–20 years of experience . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Fircosoft solutions,
SQL, and
Java-based technologies, along with hands-on experience implementing and supporting sanctions screening applications in enterprise banking environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting Fircosoft applications while collaborating with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Fircosoft applications for sanctions screening and payment filtering.
- Configure and support Fircosoft components, including Continuity V6, Screening Preparation, and Firco Utilities.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, Oracle PL/SQL procedures, and database objects to support screening applications.
- Build and support integrations between Fircosoft and enterprise systems using Java technologies, APIs, microservices, and messaging platforms.
- Analyze business, compliance, and regulatory requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Optimize sanctions screening workflows to improve processing efficiency while reducing false positives.
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, AML, and Sanctions teams to implement and enhance screening solutions.
- Support system upgrades, migrations, patch deployments, and operational resilience initiatives.
- Implement secure coding standards, application resiliency measures, and best practices for software development.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation, deployment pipelines, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational support documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–20 years of IT experience, including significant hands-on experience with Fircosoft solutions.
- Strong expertise in:
- Firco Continuity V6
- Screening Preparation
- Firco Utilities
- Strong development and configuration experience using:
- SQL (Mandatory)
- Unix
- Firco Modules
- Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
- Shell Scripting
- Java, J2EE, Spring Boot (preferred)
- Microservices architecture and messaging technologies
- Proven experience delivering, implementing, and supporting Fircosoft solutions in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of sanctions screening, payment filtering, watchlist management, and financial crime compliance processes.
- Experience working with high-volume data processing and enterprise-scale screening applications.
- End-to-end knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including production support and operational resilience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience or formal training in Kubernetes and AWS cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
- Understanding of application resiliency, security best practices, and high-availability architectures.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to sanctions screening, alert reduction, case prioritization, or data analysis.
- Experience working directly with Compliance, Risk, AML, or Sanctions teams in banking or financial services organizations.
- Knowledge of SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, payment processing, and enterprise integration technologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Relevant certifications in Fircosoft, Java, AWS, AML, or Financial Crime Compliance are an added advantage.
