Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer / Intern to support structural analysis and simulation tasks related to aerospace and mechanical systems. The role involves applying FEA principles to real-world engineering problems, validating designs, and contributing to high-quality technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural, static, modal, thermal, and fatigue analysis using Finite Element Methods
- Create and refine CAD geometry for analysis-ready models
- Mesh generation, boundary condition application, and load case definition
- Analyze and interpret simulation results to validate design performance
- Support design optimization based on stress, deformation, and safety factors
- Prepare technical reports, analysis summaries, and design validation documents
- Collaborate with design, research, and mentoring teams on aerospace/mechanical projects
Tools & Technologies
- ANSYS (Mechanical / Workbench)
- Abaqus / Altair HyperWorks (preferred)
- SolidWorks / CATIA / Creo (basic to intermediate)
- MATLAB (basic – optional)
Eligibility Criteria
- BE/BTech / Diploma students or graduates in
- Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, or related disciplines
- Basic understanding of:
- Strength of Materials
- Theory of Elasticity
- Structural Mechanics
- Passion for simulation-driven design and aerospace applications
