Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Finishing Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Finishing Manager will oversee all finishing activities at project sites, including supervision of interior and exterior finishes such as flooring, painting, joinery, fixtures, and final fit-outs to ensure quality standards and design specifications are met. The role includes coordinating with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and vendors to plan daily work schedules, monitor progress, and resolve on-site issues promptly. The Finishing Manager will conduct regular inspections, implement quality control procedures, and ensure adherence to safety norms, timelines, and budgets. The role also involves reviewing drawings, verifying materials and workmanship, preparing progress reports, and supporting handover and snag-list closure to deliver completed units to customers.
Qualifications
- Strong construction and finishing experience with a solid understanding of civil works, interior finishes, and building standards.
- Proficiency in project management and production management to plan, schedule, and monitor finishing activities effectively.
- Hands-on experience in quality control for finishes, including inspection, snag identification, and closure to meet project specifications.
- Relevant safety training or certifications such as SMSTS (or equivalent), with a focus on maintaining a safe and compliant site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, and coordinate with design and execution teams.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple contractors and trades.
- Experience with large residential or mixed-use projects and familiarity with quality and green building standards is an advantage.
