Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana for a Finishing Incharge. Responsibilities include overseeing and managing fabric finishing operations, ensuring product quality aligns with company standards, coordinating production schedules, and supervising the finishing department team. The role involves monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring effective communication across departments to maintain production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in knitted fabric finishing processes, including an understanding of fabric dyeing, drying, and finishing techniques
- Proficiency in production management, scheduling, and process optimization
- Knowledge of quality control standards and practices, with attention to maintaining product and process quality
- Experience in supervising and guiding teams within a textile manufacturing environment
- Effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate across various teams
- Proficiency in using production or textile industry-specific software like Sedo is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology or a related field is preferred
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
