About the role

Fine Product Enterprises is seeking a full-time Field Sales Engineer for a Coimbatore-based, on-site role. The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating new sales leads, cultivating existing customer relationships, and developing and implementing sales strategies. They will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product and technical solutions. The role also involves coordinating with the internal team to manage order fulfilment and resolving customer issues in a timely and effective manner. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development Identify and target potential customers in assigned territories. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients. Generate leads, conduct sales presentations, and close deals. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve sales targets. 2. Technical Consultation & Support Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions. Conduct product demonstrations and provide hands-on technical training. Offer pre-sales and post-sales support, including troubleshooting and problem resolution. Assist customers with system integration and customization needs. 3. Market Research & Strategy Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Provide insights to improve products and develop sales strategies. Work closely with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns. 4. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contracts. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, customer service) to improve product offerings.
