Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and customer‑focused Parts Counter Person to join our growing Parts Department. This position supports technicians, service advisors, and customers by accurately identifying and supplying automotive parts while maintaining inventory integrity and delivering excellent service.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers, technicians, and service advisors at the parts counter
- Accurately identify, locate, and supply automotive parts
- Create quotes, process parts orders, invoices, and returns
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments
- Utilize dealership management systems to process transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service
Qualifications
- Automotive parts experience preferred (dealership experience a plus)
- CDK experience a plus
- Subaru parts knowledge a plus
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts terminology
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented with a positive attitude
