The role is within the Finance transformation Programme Project with big 4 firm in Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderbad
Key accountabilities include:
∙Strategic Programme Leadership: Own the end-to-end delivery of the Global Finance Ledger Strategy
Programme, steering cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across regions and entities.
∙Complex Change Management: Lead the onboarding of non-Group GL sites onto Group ledgers,
navigating intricate regulatory, statutory, and operational requirements.
∙Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive sponsors, senior
Finance, Risk, IT, and business leaders. Influence and challenge at the highest levels to ensure alignment
with Group strategy.
∙Risk & Benefit Realisation: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks to benefit realisation. Champion
robust governance and ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes.
∙Continuous Improvement: Lead post-implementation reviews, capture lessons learned, and embed best
practices into global change delivery methodologies.
Major Challenges
∙Prioritisation Decisions - Balancing strategic Finance Change Delivery objectives with large amount of
new, volatile statutory and regulatory requirements in a cost-constrained environment. Managing
potentially conflicting agendas, priorities and timelines across functions (inside and outside Finance) as
well as across geographic and regulatory jurisdictions
∙SME Knowledge – the role requires detailed knowledge of the Group ledgers and reporting requirements.
He/she must have a good understanding of approaches, tools and techniques for gathering, clarifying and
managing complex change projects.
∙Industry knowledge - The role holder must demonstrate robust business knowledge and stay abreast of
developments in the industry, the functional area and other relevant areas such as technology, data and
methodology.
∙Stakeholder complexity – The role holder must manage multiple stakeholders across organisation
boundaries to ensure project plans are developed and executed, requirements are gathered and designs
agreed, dealing with different interests and resolving conflicts. Poor requirements and design decisions
must also be challenged.

∙Operate as a strategic partner across IT, Finance, and business functions.
∙Lead virtual teams across multiple geographies, ensuring consistent, high-impact delivery.
∙Engage at SME and senior leadership levels, influencing Group-wide change.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
Essential:
∙Demonstrable experience leading large-scale, multi-year change programmes in a global financial
institution at a senior level (GCB4 or equivalent).
∙Proven track record of managing senior stakeholder relationships across regions and functions.
∙Deep expertise in group ledgers, financial reporting, and MI applications.
∙Recognised project/programme management qualifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile).
∙Exceptional strategic thinking, operational excellence, and solution orientation.
∙Strong communication skills, able to distil complex concepts for executive audiences.
∙Experience operating through all stages of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.

∙Significant experience in regulatory reporting and finance transformation.
∙In-depth knowledge of international finance standards and risk management.
