Role Description The Financial Reporting and Consolidation Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including preparation and review of consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards. The individual will manage intercompany reconciliations, ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across entities, and coordinate with regional and business unit finance teams to resolve discrepancies. Day-to-day activities include analyzing financial performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, preparing management reports, and providing insights to leadership on key financial metrics. The role also involves strengthening internal controls, supporting audits, improving reporting processes and systems, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance financial transparency and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Reporting, including experience with consolidated financial statements and applicable accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, with the ability to support forecasting and long-term financial analysis.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting complex financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present financial information clearly, and engage with senior stakeholders.
- Professional qualification such as CA,
- Experience with ERP and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, advanced Excel, BI tools) and strong attention to detail.
- Proven experience in financial consolidation and reporting in a multi-entity or multinational environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage deadlines, and maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
