Financial Reporting Analyst – Group Consolidation (CA / CFA / ICWA)
Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified CA / ICWA / CFA fresher to join our Group Finance team as a Financial Reporting Analyst – Group Consolidation. This role is central to preparing and publishing Group Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS, covering 150+ legal entities across multiple geographies and currencies. You will report directly to the Manager – Corporate Finance and work closely with the CFO and CEO on key financial deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Group consolidation & IFRS reporting
Prepare Group Consolidation Reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with IFRS
Prepare consolidated Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow Statement, Segmental Reporting and Notes to Accounts
Manage consolidation of 150+ legal entities across geographies, multi-currencies, revaluation and translation
Prepare and review comparative analysis of key P&L and Balance Sheet schedules for CFO and CEO review
Manage and coordinate Month-End, Quarterly and Year-End financial close timetable
Handle Group Statutory Audit with external auditors
Conduct peers benchmarking and KPI analytics using S&P Capital IQ
Country interface & coordination
Coordinate with Country Finance Teams and Corporate Office to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Review monthly and quarterly MIS and legal entity financials; drive standardisation and compliance with Group Accounting Policy
Liaise with Country FCs / Regional Finance Controllers on accounting, reporting and disclosure matters
Review all journal and group adjustment entries for group eliminations, IFRS compliance and reporting completeness
Systems, controls & standardisation
Coordinate with the Central IT / SAP team for MIS and consolidation-related system issues
Support automation of group reporting through SAP BPC
Assist in implementing new reports and systems to facilitate faster and standardised group reporting
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Qualifications (mandatory)
Qualified CA
ICWA / CMA
CFA (all levels)
Technical skills
Sound understanding of IFRS or Ind AS
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and generate financial data, reports and statements
Knowledge of SAP and SAP BPC (consolidation module) is desirable
Exposure to alternate consolidation tools such as Hyperion is acceptable
Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel
Soft skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with high degree of self-initiative
Willingness to travel for quarterly and year-end finalization to corporate office and select global geographies
