About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and analytical FP&A professional to join our Finance team in Thane. The role will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis, and providing actionable insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1.Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
2.Develop and maintain monthly management reports and MIS.
3.Perform budget vs. actual and forecast vs. actual variance analysis and identify key business drivers.
4.Prepare financial models and analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
5.Partner with business and functional teams to understand financial performance and provide meaningful insights.
6.Track revenue, costs, profitability, working capital, and key financial KPIs.
7.Support monthly and quarterly business reviews with management.
8.Assist in developing financial dashboards and performance metrics.
9.Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario planning as required.
10.Work closely with accounting and other finance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.
11.Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved financial performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / relevant finance qualification preferred.
2. 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, management reporting, or financial planning & analysis.
3. Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
4. Strong MS Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools is an advantage.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
6. Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate financial insights effectively.
7. Candidates from manufacturing, chemicals, trading, or other B2B businesses would be preferred.
