Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Supply Chain Finance and Manufacturing Accounting
- Lead governance and continuous improvement across manufacturing accounting, factory finance, product costing, standard costing, inventory valuation and inventory accounting.
- Oversee costing inputs and outcomes covering raw materials, packaging, conversion costs, labor, utilities, depreciation, production overheads, subcontracting and relevant logistics costs.
- Govern standard-cost setting and release, cost roll-ups, Material Ledger and actual-costing processes where applicable.
- Ensure effective cost- and profit-center accounting, activity-price calculations, overhead allocations, production-order or product-cost-collector settlements and analysis of manufacturing and logistics variances.
- Partner with factory and supply-chain finance teams to ensure accurate accounting for raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished and finished goods, inventory movements, warehousing, freight, obsolescence and production variances.+1
- Record-to-Report and Financial Close
- Own R2R dependencies arising from manufacturing, inventory and logistics accounting, ensuring accurate and timely recording in the General Ledger.
- Govern period-end activities including journals, accruals, reconciliations, allocations, settlements, inventory and WIP accounting, price differences, intercompany transactions and relevant fixed-asset accounting.
- Ensure balance-sheet integrity, timely account certification, effective variance analysis and completion of month-, quarter- and year-end reporting.
- Maintain alignment between supply-chain accounting, management reporting, statutory reporting and group reporting requirements.
- Drive resolution of upstream process or interface issues that affect financial close, inventory valuation or reporting accuracy.+1
- SAP S/4HANA Transformation and Deployment
- Act as the Finance process lead and subject-matter expert for integrated SAP S/4HANA FI/CO, product costing, inventory accounting and R2R capabilities.
- Lead fit-to-standard and localization activities while balancing global-template integrity with valid market, legal and reporting requirements.
- Govern finance requirements across solution validation, data migration, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare and post-go-live stabilization.
- Ensure effective integration across the Universal Journal, General Ledger, Controlling, Material Ledger, cost and profit centers, production processes and supply-chain transactions.
- Establish clear ownership, support processes, escalation paths and performance governance for transition from deployment into BAU operations.+2
- Controls, Compliance and Data Integrity
- Design and maintain robust controls across product costing, inventory valuation, journals, reconciliations, allocations, settlements and financial close.
- Govern master-data and interface controls affecting materials, cost centers, profit centers, activity types, production orders and financial reporting.
- Monitor Segregation of Duties, control effectiveness, audit readiness and timely remediation of control or audit findings.
- Ensure financial data remains complete, accurate and traceable across manufacturing, logistics and accounting processes.+1
- Operational Excellence and Business Partnership
- Lead cross-functional resolution of recurring process, data and system issues, addressing root causes rather than relying on temporary workarounds.
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation, improved reconciliations, enhanced analytics, simplified close activities and reduced manual intervention.
- Translate supply-chain financial information into clear insights on inventory, cost performance, manufacturing variances and financial-close impacts.
- Build strong partnerships with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, GBS, Internal Controls, Digital & Technology and implementation partners.
- Develop process documentation, governance playbooks and team capability to support sustainable TMICC-owned operations.+1
Critical Experience And Qualifications
- CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, MBA Finance or equivalent accounting/finance qualification.
- Typically 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, with substantial leadership exposure across Supply Chain Finance, manufacturing accounting, product costing and R2R.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling in an FMCG, consumer-goods, food, manufacturing or similarly complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience in ERP transformation or deployment, including process design, testing, cutover, hypercare, stabilization and transition to BAU.
- Experience working with global, multi-market or shared-services operating models.
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.+1

SAP documentation supports the close relationship between Product Cost Planning, Cost Object Controlling and Actual Costing/Material Ledger, while production period-end processing includes WIP, variance calculation and settlement into Finance.sap+2
