About the role: We are looking for a data-driven, curious, and proactive FP&A Associate to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you won't just be "crunching numbers", you will be a strategic partner to our leadership team, helping translate complex data into the story of our business. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, optimizing our operations, and driving sustainable growth
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- Strategic Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages and presentations for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and the Board.
- Variance & Optimization: Conduct deep-dive variance analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue acceleration.
- Business Partnership: Act as a financial consultant to Sales, Marketing, Delivery, HR, and Platform teams to help them manage their budgets and meet their goals.
- Capital Raise Modeling: Build and maintain the "source of truth" financial models used for equity fundraising rounds and venture debt applications. This includes modeling dilution, liquidation preferences, and debt service coverage ratios.
- Investor & Debtor Compliance: Post-raise, take ownership of the reporting lifecycle. This involves preparing monthly/quarterly investor letters and ensuring all debt covenants are monitored and reported accurately to our lenders.
- Performance Insight: Analyze KPIs and identify the underlying trends and drivers of business performance.
- Process Innovation: Identify and implement automation tools and process improvements to make our financial reporting faster and more accurate.
- Visual Storytelling: Maintain real-time financial dashboards that provide stakeholders with at-a-glance insights into health and performance.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Education: A degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a highly quantitative field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or FP&A at a tech/services company preferred).
- Technical Wizardry: Advanced Excel/Google and SQL skills are a must. Familiarity with visualization tools is also required.
- Analytical Rigor: The ability to take a massive, messy dataset and distill it into three so-whats for the leadership team.
- Communication: You can explain financial metrics to a non-financial audience without losing them in the jargon.
Ownership Mentality: A strong work ethic and extreme attention to detail. You take pride in the accuracy of your numbers and the clarity of your insights.
