Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience to lead Finance at ContraVault AI.
You will own the company's finance function, including financial operations, statutory compliance, taxation, payroll, banking, MIS reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management. Working closely with leadership, you'll help strengthen financial processes while supporting key business decisions in a fast-growing AI startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory compliances.
- Handle payroll, employee reimbursements, vendor payments, and banking operations.
- Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
- Support fundraising, investor reporting, and financial due diligence when required.
- Drive process improvements and automation across finance operations.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
- 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong expertise in statutory compliance, taxation, payroll, MIS, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/financial software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with a high level of ownership.
Preferred
- Experience in a SaaS, AI, or technology startup.
- Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting, or due diligence.
- Experience implementing financial controls and finance process automation.
- Familiarity with AI-powered finance tools or enterprise software is an advantage.
