Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Finance Head to lead the finance and accounting function for the Business Unit. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial planning, project accounting, commercial controls, compliance management, and business finance operations across EPC/project-based, Entertainment, Hospitality, Retail, or Consumer B2C industries.
The candidate will play a critical role in driving financial discipline, improving operational efficiency, managing cash flows, and supporting strategic business decisions.
Experience & Qualification:
- 15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts
- Qualified CA / MBA Finance preferred
- Experience in EPC/project-based, Entertainment, Hospitality, Retail, or Consumer B2C industries will be preferred
- Strong exposure to handling business finance independently
Key Responsibilities:Financial Management & Accounting
- Lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations for the Business Unit
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, accounting, and preparation of financial statements
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies
Project Accounting & Cost Control
- Manage project accounting and project-wise profitability analysis
- Track project costing, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Ensure proper revenue recognition as per applicable accounting standards and contractual terms
- Monitor project cash flows and ensure financial control across ongoing projects
Contract & Commercial Management
- Review and manage customer/vendor contracts from a financial and commercial perspective
- Ensure compliance with payment terms, billing milestones, and contractual obligations
- Support management in commercial negotiations and financial risk assessment
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Drive cash flow planning, forecasting, and fund management
- Monitor receivables, debtor ageing, and collection cycles
- Ensure optimum utilization of working capital and maintain financial stability
- Control vendor payments and manage supplier financial commitments effectively
Audit, Compliance & Controls
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and other audits
- Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, taxation, and regulatory requirements
- Strengthen internal financial controls and process governance
- Identify financial risks and implement corrective measures
MIS & Business Support
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and financial analysis for management review
- Support leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Provide financial insights for business growth and operational decision-making
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Tally and financial reporting systems
- Expertise in project accounting and commercial finance management

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
