Company Description Virtual Admins builds dedicated remote teams that support U.S. dentists, CPAs, small businesses, startups, HOAs, property managers, and logistics companies. Role Description The Financial Controller role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The person in this role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. They will prepare and review financial statements, monitor budgets, analyze variances, and support cash flow planning to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Financial Controller will implement and maintain internal controls, coordinate with external auditors or tax advisors, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. This role will also collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and contribute to process improvements in finance and operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial controls and compliance, such as internal control design, audit support, and familiarity with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including variance analysis, cost optimization, and the ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and productivity tools, such as ERP or accounting systems, spreadsheets, and financial dashboards.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in controlling, accounting, or finance roles, preferably within services or outsourcing environments, and demonstrated ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
