Role – Financial Controller
Location: Sarovar Portico, Sriperumbudur – Chennai
Role Overview:
Responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy of accounts, statutory compliance, cost control, budgeting, and supporting the General Manager and Corporate Finance with timely financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts department of the property.
- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, MIS, and financial reports with accuracy and timelines.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and working capital.
- Implement and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and audit compliance.
- Oversee AP/AR, payroll, banking, statutory payments, and vendor management.
- Drive cost control initiatives across departments.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
- Support GM with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with Corporate Finance for reporting and policy adherence.
Qualifications:
- MBA Finance is preferred for the role.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality finance, statutory laws, and PMS/ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven track record with reputed hotel brands.
