Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller with strong UK Accounting knowledge who can manage accounting operations, oversee financial processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and problem-solving capabilities, along with hands-on experience in managing accounting tasks and month-end financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee UK accounting operations and financial reporting
• Handle month-end closing and finalization processes
• Supervise and review day-to-day accounting activities
• Ensure accuracy in financial statements and reports
• Manage day-to-day commercial finance processes and financial operations
Coordinate with internal teams to meet financial deadlines
• Identify and resolve accounting and technical system queries
• Improve accounting workflows and operational efficiency
• Provide guidance and support to the accounting team
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Minimum 3+ years of experience in UK Accounting
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end closing
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and deadlines
• Experience in handling accounting systems and technical queries
• Strong analytical and decision-making skillsPreferred Qualities
