JD - Financial Controller - CA MUST
Reporting To: Group CFO
Location: Mumbai
This role requires a strong blend of controllership, manufacturing finance, and business partnering, with the ability to operate in a high-growth, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Controllership & Consolidation
o Lead end-to-end financial closure across all entities with strict timelines
o Drive consolidation of financials and preparation of investor-ready reporting packs
o Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and audit requirements
o Strengthen internal financial controls (IFC) across entities
2. Plant Finance & Cost Leadership - Anchor finance for multiple plants
o Oversee Standard Costing, Inventory controls and Cost sheet validation and margin analysis
o Drive key levers like Wastage control & Conversion cost optimization
o Partner with operations for profitability improvement initiatives
3. Investor & Management Reporting
o Build high-quality monthly MIS, board decks, and investor updates
o Track and report KPIs
o Support CFO in board presentations and investor discussions
4. Compliance, Audit & Structuring
o Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and other regulatory frameworks
o Manage Statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits
o Oversee inter-company transactions
o Regulatory compliance
5. Integration & Process Standardization
o Play a key role in integration of acquired entities
o Standardize processes across plants and entities
o Drive ERP discipline, data integrity, and reporting automation
6. Team Leadership
o Lead finance teams across plants
o Build a strong controllership culture and accountability
o Develop next-line finance talent
Candidate Profile
o Qualification: CA (must)
o Experience: 8–10 years, with significant exposure to Manufacturing / Packaging / Multi-plant setups Investor-backed / PE-driven environments (preferred)
o Strong ownership mindset with high rigor in numbers with sharp business understanding
o Ability to manage complex, multi-entity structures
o Strong stakeholder management (plants, auditors, investors, lenders)
o Budget: 15-25 LPA, But not a constrain for right candidate
