Role Overview:
We are looking for a Financial Analyst Intern who is interested in financial data analysis, reporting, and supporting strategic business decisions. This role offers in-depth exposure to financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights
* Assist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and summaries
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
* Work extensively with Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting
* Track financial metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators
* Conduct variance analysis and support cost tracking initiatives
* Collaborate with teams to gather financial inputs and requirements
* Maintain accuracy, consistency, and documentation of financial data
Required Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, analysis tools)
* Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
* Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
* Good communication and reporting skills
* Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques
* Exposure to finance-related projects or coursework
* Basic understanding of business analytics or data tools
* Knowledge of financial reporting tools is an advantage
