About the Role
We are a fast-growing third-party logistics startup powering last-mile delivery for quick commerce companies, grocery apps, dark stores, and instant delivery platforms. As we scale our fleet, fulfillment network, and client portfolio, we're looking for a sharp Financial Analyst to be the financial backbone of our operations.
You will work closely with the founders, ops leads, and client teams to drive unit economics, manage cash flows, and build the financial infrastructure that supports hyper-growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
Own the monthly P&L, build rolling forecasts, and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic decisions. Track revenue per delivery, per city, and per client to identify growth levers.
Unit Economics & Cost Analysis
Deep-dive into cost-per-delivery (CPD), rider/fleet costs, city operations, and technology overhead. Identify margin leakage and build frameworks to improve per-order profitability across client accounts.
Client Billing & Revenue Reconciliation
Manage billing cycles with q-commerce clients (Blinkit, Zepto, Big Basket, Swiggy Instamart, etc.), reconcile the receivables and client followup. Build client-wise revenue dashboards and contribution margin reports.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
Monitor weekly cash positions, manage receivables from clients and payables to vendors/fleet partners. Flag early warning signs of cash crunches, particularly around payroll cycles and fuel advance settlements.
Business Partnering & Investor Reporting
Prepare monthly MIS and board-ready financial packs. Support fundraising by building financial models for investor decks, data rooms, and due diligence requests. Partner with operations to translate data into actionable business insights.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure GST filings, TDS compliance, vendor payment processes, and statutory requirements are met on time. Liaise with external auditors and CA firms for annual filings and audits.
Required Qualifications
• B.Com / MBA (Finance) or CA Inter
• 1–5 years of experience in FP&A, startup finance, or logistics/supply chain finance
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets modelling skills
• Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software
• Understanding of Indian GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
What Makes You Stand Out
• Prior experience in logistics, e-commerce, or q-commerce startups
• Good Excel and Zoho knowledge and ability to mix work with AI tools
• Experience supporting a fundraise or preparing investor-grade financial models
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and building finance processes from scratch
What We Offer
• High ownership and direct visibility at the leadership and founders' table
• Opportunity to build the finance function from the ground up
• Fast-paced, meritocratic environment where your work directly impacts decisions
• Direct exposure to investors, board members, and fundraising processes
