Key Responsibilities
- Cost Management: Monitor and analyze labor, material, and overhead expenses to identify inefficiencies.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare, track, and report on departmental or project budgets.
- Variance Analysis:
- Compare actual costs against standard or budgeted costs, investigating discrepancies.
- Reporting: Create monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports to provide actionable insights to management.
- Process Improvement: Recommend changes to operating procedures, procurement, and inventory to lower costs.
- Market Analysis: Research market trends and commodity prices to support pricing strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, finance, or cost accounting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Analytical Abilities: Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Communication: Ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
