Role Description The Financial Analyst role at Sarmaya is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Financial Analyst will review and interpret financial data, prepare and analyze financial statements, and support financial planning activities for the society’s events and initiatives. Daily responsibilities include monitoring budgets, tracking expenses and revenues, preparing financial reports, and providing insights to improve cost efficiency and resource allocation. The role involves collaborating with event teams and the core committee to forecast financial requirements, assess financial risks, and ensure transparent financial documentation. The Financial Analyst will also assist in developing financial policies, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to strategic decisions with data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge, including a solid understanding of core financial concepts and principles.
- Candidates should possess Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for events and projects.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, analysis, and interpretation of key reports.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and provide actionable financial insights.
- Relevant qualifications such as pursuing or holding a degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and basic financial software, with attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ethical mindset and commitment to transparency, along with the ability to work on-site in Gurugram and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
