About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic business decisions through financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Working closely with project, sales, and operations teams, you will provide insights that enhance profitability, optimize cash flow, and improve overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyse, and interpret financial statements and management reports.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
- Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modelling.
- Conduct project cost analysis and profitability assessments.
- Support pricing, investment, and strategic business decisions.
- Prepare financial dashboards and performance reports for management.
- Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of financial information.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement).
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in the real estate or construction industry is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
