About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Close, Consolidation, and Reporting within SAP FIN/AI environments. This remote role, based in India, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our global finance operations by managing month-end close processes, performing complex consolidations across multi-entity structures, and ensuring accurate financial reporting aligned with US GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting operations, financial systems, and digital transformation initiatives, with a particular emphasis on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize workflows. This position may require night shifts to align with international reporting schedules, offering flexibility and a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting operations, or related roles.
- Professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or an MBA with a focus on Finance.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO modules, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial consolidation, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Experience with automation tools, RPA, and applying AI/ML concepts to finance workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Perform complex financial consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and journal entries in SAP FI/CO systems.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies and support management decision-making.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Support SAP system enhancements, including configuration, testing, and implementation of automation initiatives.
- Apply AI and machine learning techniques to streamline reconciliation processes, detect anomalies, and improve reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial workflows and system functionalities.
