Job Title: Investment Analyst – Private Equity

Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join our team focused on private equity investments in India. The role offers exposure to high-growth companies in their final stages before public listing and requires a blend of analytical rigor, financial acumen, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth research and analysis of potential investment opportunities in private equity space (sector agnostic)
* Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation models (DCF, comparables, scenario analysis)
* Analyze financial statements, business models, industry trends, and competitive landscapes
*Assist in deal sourcing, due diligence, and execution of transactions
* Prepare investment memos, presentations, and internal reports for the investment committee
* Track portfolio company performance and provide periodic updates* Engage with founders, management teams, intermediaries, and other stakeholders
Required Skill Set
* Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving ability
* Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights* High attention to detail and structured thinking
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience in unlisted / private market investing, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or equity research
* Exposure to pre-IPO transactions or late-stage funding rounds is a strong advantage
* CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred
Experience
* 1–4 years of relevant experience (flexible based on candidate quality)
