Job Title: Finance Analyst
Experience: 3-5 years
Location: India (Remote)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across business units.
- MIS Reporting. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Revenue & Cost Analysis. Analyse revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability metrics across service lines and client engagements.
- Cash Flow Management. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and accounts receivable/payable to sustain healthy liquidity.
- Compliance & Audit Support. Assist with statutory compliance (GST, TDS, income tax), audits, and coordination with external auditors and consultants.
- Business Partnering. Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Operations teams to provide financial insights that drive commercial decisions.
- Process Improvement. Identify gaps in financial processes and implement improvements that enhance accuracy, speed, and controls.
- Tool & System Management. Maintain and evolve use of financial tools — Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or equivalent ERP/accounting platforms.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In your first 6–12 months, you're succeeding when you're:
- Delivering MIS and financial reports on time with zero material errors.
- Building financial models trusted and actively used by leadership for strategic decisions.
- Maintaining 100% compliance on GST, TDS, and statutory filings with no penalties.
- Providing proactive financial insights that drive cost savings or revenue improvement.
- Becoming the go-to finance partner for the India operations team.
WHO YOU ARE
- 3–5 years of experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A, or Management Accountant role in a B2B technology, SaaS, or IT services company.
- Strong command of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Working knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or SAP.
- Excellent analytical skills — you translate numbers into a clear, compelling business narrative.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance / B.Com (H) from a recognised institution.
- A self-starter who thrives with ambiguity and ownership in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with US client billing, multi-currency accounting, or transfer pricing.
- Prior experience at a startup or scale-up, building finance processes from the ground up.
- Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for financial dashboards.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional global teams across India and North America.
