Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Analyst role based in Mumbai. The Financial Analyst will support client engagements by analyzing financial statements, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing historical performance, evaluating key financial metrics, and developing insights to support financial planning and investment decisions. The role involves preparing and maintaining financial models, supporting valuation and fundraising analyses, and contributing to client presentations and documentation. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with accounting, taxation, and advisory teams to ensure accurate reporting and clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for interpreting data, building financial models, and evaluating business performance.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare, review, and analyze client financials.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools, including modeling, scenario analysis, and data visualization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, CIMA) are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present financial insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in professional services or consulting environments is beneficial.
