Job Title: Finance Analyst – Vertical Accounting

Reporting To: Senior Finance Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. This role involves managing the day-to-day accounting activities of a specific business vertical, including both payments and receipts. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, along with working knowledge of journals, ledgers, bank reconciliations, Excel, and Tally.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records for a specific vertical.
Record journal entries and update ledgers in Tally.
Help manage accounts payable (vendor payments) and accounts receivable (customer receipts).
Perform bank reconciliations and assist in tracking daily bank transactions.
Organize and maintain documentation related to invoices, payments, and receipts.
Support the finance team in data entry, report generation, and basic financial analysis using Excel.
Coordinate with internal teams for payment approvals and supporting documents.
Ensure timely updating of Tally with correct account codes and narration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, BBA, etc.).
0–1 years of relevant experience (internships or training in accounting will be a plus).
Basic knowledge of accounting concepts like journal, ledger, and reconciliation.
Familiarity with Tally ERP and MS Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, sorting, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Internship experience in accounting or finance.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and
basic statutory compliance.
