About the Role
We are hiring a Financial Analyst to own project-level financial visibility across our engagements. This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting into the finance and operations leadership team. You will work at engagement level — not just entity level — tracking project profitability, supporting month-end close, and translating financial data into decisions our delivery and account leadership can act on.
What You Will Do
- Own project accounting: project-level P&L, cost tracking, WIP, unbilled revenue, and AR ageing across active engagements
- Manage SOW/MSA-linked billing and margin reporting, including revenue recognition on both time-and-material and fixed-bid engagements
- Build and maintain project budgets, track actuals against plan, and produce variance bridges with clear commentary
- Support month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, MIS, and financial reporting across multiple entities and currencies (India, Canada, US)
- Partner with delivery and account management on utilisation, bench cost, and unit economics
- Present financial insight to non-finance stakeholders in plain, decision-ready terms
What We Are Looking For
- 8-12 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or project accounting
- Demonstrated project accounting experience is essential — you should be able to walk us through project-level cost and revenue tracking you have personally owned
- Strong month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting fundamentals
- Advanced Excel: XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, pivots, and clean, auditable model structure (there is a proctored Excel assessment in the process)
- Exposure to services, ITES, or CCM/BPO financials is a strong advantage
- Working knowledge of ERP/planning tools such as NetSuite, Planful, or Workday
- CA (semi-qualified or qualified), CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent
- Comfort with multi-entity, multi-currency environments and basic IFRS/US GAAP
What This Role Is Not
- Not a people-management or team-leadership role — this is a pure individual contributor position
- Not a general accounts payable/receivable processing role
- Not a controllership or finance-manager position
