Role Description The Financial Advisor at MUDRA – Finance and Investment Cell will provide guidance on personal finance, investments, and financial planning to individuals and groups within the Cell. This full-time, on-site role in Varanasi involves analyzing financial goals, evaluating risk profiles, and recommending suitable investment and savings strategies. The Financial Advisor will design and present financial literacy sessions, support workshops and strategy meetings, and contribute to research on market trends and financial products. The role includes preparing clear, accessible financial reports and materials, collaborating with other members to develop educational content, and maintaining accurate records of advisory interactions. The Financial Advisor will also help cultivate a culture of responsible investing and informed financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Investments, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and practically.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to support long-term goal setting and portfolio design.
- Experience or interest in Financial Advisory, including assessing client needs and recommending suitable financial solutions.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; comfort working with data and financial tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an accessible manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an academic or student-driven environment and engage diverse participants.
- Relevant coursework or degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Ethical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to promoting sound financial practices.
