Job Title
Finance Transformation Lead
(Senior Manager – Individual Contributor)
Function: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: CFO’s Office
Role Purpose
The Finance Transformation Lead will drive modernization and transformation across finance operations. The role focuses on building scalable, system-driven processes and reducing dependency on manual ways of working.
The individual will work closely with business teams, IT, and leadership to improve finance processes, drive automation, implement digital tools, and support strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Transformation & Process Excellence
- Identify process gaps and design improved finance workflows.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency, control, and scalability.
- Support evaluation and implementation of finance systems and tools in collaboration with IT and business teams.
- Continuously improve existing finance systems and digital processes.
- Standardize and redesign key finance processes such as:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (OTC)
- Vendor Onboarding
- Capex
- Fixed Assets
- Financial Close & Consolidation
- Review and optimize existing SAP capabilities.
- Strengthen governance frameworks and process controls.
Business & Commercial Finance Partnership
- Build dashboards and MIS reports using Power BI and data from systems like SAP, TMS, DMS, etc.
- Partner with Finance and IT teams to create KPI tracking and analytical models.
- Support implementation of FP&A, Capex, COPA, and planning-related processes/tools.
- Support subsidiary governance and financial control frameworks.
- Assist in implementation and stabilization of international business models.
- Support the CFO’s Office on strategic and cross-functional projects.
- Lead Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.
- Drive automation and digitization of management reporting processes.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, commercial finance, and business finance.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and BI tools like Power BI.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage change and collaborate across functions.
- High ownership mindset with strong execution capability.
- Experience in GCC transition projects would be an added advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 10–12 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in finance transformation and project management initiatives.
- Prior exposure to Finance Transformation, Plant Finance, Business Finance, or Corporate Accounting/Consolidation preferred.
- Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Pharma, or Consulting environments preferred.
