Job Title: Executive – System Background
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Finance Systems Executive with 3–5 years of experience in a Finance function and strong exposure to ERP/financial systems.
The role will be primarily responsible for managing and supporting Finance systems, ERP processes, system controls, financial data, reporting, reconciliations, and system-related requirements. The candidate will act as a key interface between the Finance and IT/System teams, ensuring smooth functioning of finance applications and timely resolution of system-related issues.
The ideal candidate should have strong Finance process knowledge combined with a systems-oriented mindset, good analytical skills, and the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Systems & ERP
- Manage day-to-day Finance ERP/system-related activities and provide functional support to Finance users.
- Ensure accurate processing and flow of financial transactions within the ERP system.
- Monitor system-generated financial transactions, reports, and interfaces.
- Identify system/process gaps and coordinate with IT or ERP support teams for resolution.
- Analyze system issues, perform initial root-cause analysis, and ensure timely closure.
- Coordinate with system vendors/IT teams for bugs, incidents, enhancements, and change requests.
- Maintain proper documentation of system issues, resolutions, processes, and controls.
System Implementation & Enhancements
- Understand Finance business requirements and translate them into system requirements.
- Support ERP implementation, enhancement, upgrade, migration, and integration projects.
- Prepare business requirement documents and functional requirements where required.
- Participate in UAT, test-case preparation, system testing, defect tracking, and validation.
- Validate system changes before deployment into production.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SAP FICO / Oracle Financials / Microsoft Dynamics.
- Exposure to ERP implementation, migration, upgrade, or integration projects.
- Knowledge of finance-system interfaces and data integration.
- Experience in automation or digitalization of Finance processes.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting/analytics tools will be an advantage.
· Ability to analyze financial/system data and perform reconciliations.
· Strong understanding of system controls, workflows, approvals, and financial data integrity.
· Good communication skills with the ability to interact with both Finance and IT/System teams.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
