Role Description The Finance Receivable Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Paravur. The role involves managing accounts receivable, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, reconciling fee collections, and following up on outstanding dues from students and other stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include updating the accounting system, coordinating with the finance and academic teams, resolving billing or payment discrepancies, and preparing periodic receivable ageing reports.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of core finance concepts and practices, including Finance and Financial Statements.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Proficiency with accounting or ERP software and MS Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas, reconciliations).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in accounts receivable, education sector finance, or similar roles is preferred.
