Job Opening: Accounting Executive
At the numbers. we help entrepreneurs and SMEs take their financial and operational matters off their hands, so they can focus on growth. From bookkeeping to reporting, process improvements and strategic brainstorming - we make sure everything runs smoothly and entrepreneurs don't lose sleep over it.
We're growing fast and are looking for an Accounting Executive employee who wants to get involved across the board - both thinking along and rolling up their sleeves. You'll get plenty of room to take initiative and truly help build a young, ambitious company.
What will you do?
- Handle financial administration (such as processing invoices, match payments, GL reconciliations and supporting year-end closings)
- Prepare analyses and contribute ideas for reporting
- Pick up (ad-hoc) questions and tasks from clients
- (Later on) contribute to process improvements and build simple financial models
- Support direct client contact where needed
Who are we looking for?
- A graduate in Finance, (Business) Economics, Accounting or a comparable field
- Skilled in Excel
- Handy with AI
- Experience with bookkeeping and/or ERP systems
- Critical, independent and flexible
- Not afraid to take responsibility and work under deadlines
- Available full-time
- Available immediately
- Fluent in English and willing to learn basic Dutch
