Role Summary
We are hiring a Finance Operations Manager to drive financial performance across the business. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, not a traditional reporting role.
The successful candidate will:
- Own financial tracking and reporting
- Drive accountability across teams
- Improve cash flow and operational efficiency
- Actively contribute to revenue performance and decision-making
- This role requires someone who is proactive, commercially aware, and comfortable pushing teams to improve financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Tracking & Reporting
- Produce weekly KPI reports covering:
- Revenue vs target
- Cash position
- Pipeline / sales performance
- Collections / receivables
- Ensure all financial data is accurate, up-to-date, and actionable
- Build and maintain simple, clear dashboards
2. Cash Flow & Collections
- Actively manage accounts receivable and collections
- Work with internal teams to improve cash conversion
- Identify and resolve delays in payments
3. Operational Finance Ownership
- Track project costs and profitability
- Work directly with team leads to:
- Monitor spend
- Improve efficiency
- Reduce waste
- Hold teams accountable to financial targets
4. Driving Financial Performance
- Identify key issues affecting revenue and profitability
- Recommend clear, practical actions to improve performance
- Follow through and ensure actions are implemented
- Push teams toward better financial discipline and outcomes
5. Revenue Support
- Work alongside sales and operations to:
- Track pipeline performance
- Identify conversion issues
- Highlight opportunities to increase revenue
- Contribute to improving overall business performance, not just reporting it
Key Requirements:
- Strong background in finance, accounting, or financial operations
- Experience with:
1)KPI tracking
2)Financial reporting
3)Cash flow management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
- Strong communication skills – able to challenge and influence team leads
- Highly proactive and results-oriented
- Not just a “reporting” finance person
- Thinks in terms of:
- Actions, not just numbers
- Comfortable taking ownership and driving outcomes
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Commercially aware (understands how finance links to growth)
