About the Role: We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Finance Operations Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end finance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient service delivery,maintaining financial accuracy, managing teams, and driving process improvements across core accounting functions. Job Summary: The Finance Operations Manager will lead multiple finance processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R), ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and operational excellence to support business and client objectives
Requirements
- Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Commerce (MBA / CA / CPA preferred)
- 8–14 years of experience in finance & accounting operations
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong exposure to AP, AR, GL, R2R, P2P, and O2C processes
- Experience in shared services / BPO / KPO environment preferred
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with global clients (US/UK/Australia regions)
- Exposure to automation tools (RPA, AI-driven finance solutions)
- Certification in Lean / Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies
Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end finance operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and financial reporting
- Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Design and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all finance activities
- Define and implement KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics aligned with business goals
- Monitor daily operations to ensure accuracy, productivity, and adherence to SLAs and KPIs
- Manage workload distribution and resource planning for optimal team performance
- Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
- Set performance goals, conduct appraisals, and provide continuous feedback
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability and quality
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients
- Ensure effective communication and alignment on deliverables and expectations
- Handle escalations and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in client reviews, governance meetings, and business discussions
- Process Improvement & Transformation
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy
- Drive automation and standardization initiatives across finance operations
- Support transitions, migrations, and new process implementations
- Leverage tools and technology to improve reporting and operational efficiency
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and review financial reports, dashboards, and MIS reports
- Track key performance metrics and provide insights to senior management
- Use data-driven analysis to support decision-making and business planning.
