Role Description The Finance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The role involves
- Bookkeeping/Accounting
- Compliance Management.
- Managing cash flows and F&P analysis.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with all client invoicing/billing requirements.
- Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Overseeing payroll management including payroll calculation, disbursement, creation of salary slips, T DS calculation, PF compliance etc.
- Preparing sales invoices, tracking of receipts, and following up with clients for payments.
- Overseeing management of GST related data, including reconciliation of input tax credit (ITC), GST payments, filing of GST returns, reconciliation of GST returns with books of accounts etc.
- Ensuring TDS deduction and payment, filing of quarterly returns, and downloading of form 16 and 16A.
- Generating daily reports to monitor accuracy and timeliness of billing and past due collections.
- Preparation and maintenance of financial records, reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly MIS, quarterly financial statements, cash flow statements etc.
- Leading co-ordination with statutory auditors for annual audit facilitation.
- Managing internal controls.
- Budget Preparation and monitoring.
- Support in bid documents preparation and submission.
- Contract preparation and management (review of partners financial records).
- Support in Business Development Activities.
- Providing support in review and finalisation of finance manuals and SoPs.
- In coordination with financial and legal consultants, ensure applicability of tax deductions as per local law, timely deposit of all such deductions and financial legal matters.
- Maintaining budget decks/trackers for all projects and organisation wide.

Desired profile attributes:
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency in Tally and other ERP systems is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge, including understanding of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present financial information clearly to stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
