Purpose of Role

Prepares loan files for underwriting, reviews files to ensure completeness of submission and acts as a liaison between Lender/Client and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Prepares loan file for underwriting.
• Ensures all appropriate fields in ReverseVision are complete/accurate.
• Re-discloses applicable documents in compliance with RESPA/TILA requirements.
• Communicates with LAMs and Account Executives on a daily basis.
• Liaisons between Lender/Client, Underwriter and Account Executive.
• Troubleshoots any issues that may arise, escalates to Operations Manager as needed.
• Assists in pipeline management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies

• Processing experience or experience within the department preferred, but not required
• Prior experience working with Loan Origination Systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Current knowledge of industry guidelines and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations
• Knowledge of mortgage banking
• Analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Highly organized
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills necessary
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment under time constraints
• Ability to organize and coordinate projects
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to adapt to change quickly

Qualifications - Education - Required

• High School Diploma

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
