Job Summary
The finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete financial and accounting operations of the company, including financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, audits, statutory compliance, fund management, and internal controls. The role requires strong expertise in accounting standards, GST, TDS, financial analysis, and compliance management while supporting management in strategic financial decision-making.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Accounting
Manage and supervise overall accounting operations of the company.
Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.
Review journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.
Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual accounts.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, PT, and other statutory compliances.
Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings.
Coordinate with tax authorities, consultants, and auditors.
Monitor tax planning and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
3. Financial Reporting & MIS
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate MIS reports and financial analysis for management review.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
4. Audit & Internal Controls
Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Ensure audit readiness and proper documentation.
Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures.
Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
5. Banking & Fund Management
Coordinate with banks for loans, OD limits, BGs, LC documentation, and financial transactions.
Monitor banking operations and fund flow management.
Prepare CMA data and financial documents for banking requirements.
Maintain relationships with bankers and financial institutions.
6. Vendor & Client Financial Coordination
Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
Approve vendor payments and customer reconciliations.
Ensure timely payment processing and collection follow-ups.
7. Team Leadership & Coordination
Lead and supervise the accounts and finance team.
Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
Train junior staff on accounting practices and compliance procedures.
Coordinate with HR, Purchase, Billing, and Project departments for financial matters.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
Expertise in financial reporting and compliance management.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, ERP software, MS Excel, and accounting systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Leadership and team handling capabilities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
