Job Title: Finance Manager
Experience: 5–8 years
Location: Gurgaon (Hybrid)
Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Finance Manager . This role sits at the intersection of finance, legal, and compliance, and will work closely with the CFO on financial governance, strategic insights, and regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Key Responsibilities
Be the Financial Backbone!
- Own end-to-end Fund operations / other financial operations including accounting, MIS, budgeting, and forecasting
- Prepare periodic financial reports for leadership and stakeholders
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost optimization initiatives Build and help in enforcing governance
- Ensure adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and tax compliances (SEBI, Exchange Control, Income-tax)
- Lead internal and external audits; coordinate with auditors and consultants
- Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks
- Track and implement changes in financial and regulatory guidelines
Legal & Compliance Oversight
- Review and manage contracts, agreements, and other relevant documents
- Work closely with legal counsel on compliance, structuring, and risk matters
- Support company law and secretarial compliance requirements
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance across portfolio interactions (where applicable)
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with the CFO and leadership team on financial insights and decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (investors, advisors, regulators)
Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in VC/PE, Big4, or high-growth environments
- Solid understanding of AIF structures, fund operations, and capital flows
- Strong Excel and data handling skills (broad-based, not necessarily fund-specific)
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory frameworks
- Working knowledge of legal documentation and corporate compliance
- High ownership, attention to detail, and strong analytical capability
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate in a dynamic setup
