Job Title: Finance Manager - FP&A
Location: Pune (India)
Job Purpose And Scope
The role holder will be the Teamleader, leading the end‑to‑end forecasting process and Management Reporting support within the GBS team, with in-depth knowledge of the Tagetik Financial Planning tool and its critical role in the company's S&OP process. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality and data hygiene in the frorecasting and management reporting processes, partnering with Country Finance business partners to resolve pricing issues, identifying and addressing any discrepancies in forecasted numbers, govern the overall process run by the D&A team and ensure end to end completeness and sign off from countries, regions and BG.
What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
- Leading the FP&A and Management Reporting team in GBS overseeing end‑to‑end forecasting, management reporting, budgeting, cash‑up, and financial planning processes within GBS, ensuring accuracy, governance, and alignment across all markets and stakeholders.
- Acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all matters related to Tagetik Financial Planning tool and the process.
- Ensuring full data hygiene across the forecasting process: from live data (fundational data) to final submitted forecast.
- Resolving all missing price and cost data in a timely manner and proactively following up with relevant stakeholders.
- Identifying and correcting the list price and transfer price issues; and maintaining a clear overview of missing or inconsistent pricing.
- Safeguarding the performance and accuracy of the Tagetik Financial Planning tool, ensuring effective data modelling for forecasting.
- Running the forecasting cycle, analysing results, and delivering actionable financial insights.
- Maintaining and overseeing Tagetik interfaces with D&A and other relevant systems to ensure data flows correctly.
- Supporting countries, regional teams, and central leadership with manual adjustments and leadership overlays within the Tagetik Financial Planning tool.
- Reporting GMVA for the forecasting cycle.
- Managing month‑end close activities, including P&L reporting, COGS/Sales reconciliations, GPVA analysis, and Sales Flash reporting.
- Ensuring robust financial controls through reconciliations (e.g., FIPA), documentation, and MR sign‑off.
- Driving continuous process improvements, strengthening governance, and ensuring consistent application of financial policies across markets.
What You Need To Succeed
Experiences & Qualifications
15 or more years of experience leading finance teams within a GBS or shared‑services set-up, with a proven ability to motivate teams, make sound decisions, and drive high‑quality delivery.
Finance professional with solid experience in Business Planning (forecasting) and the S&OP process (Sales & Operations Planning) and an understanding of Finance’s role within it.
Structured and well-organized, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while looking for ways to improve processes.
Strong at business communication and partnering.
Inquisitive mind and problem-solving skills – ability to handle complex sets of data and find sources of error with speed.
Deep understanding of highly complex business processes and the ability to translate these and break them down into simple, navigable pieces.
Advanced Excel skills – ability to manipulate large volumes of data efficiently and accurately.
