Role Objective
We are seeking a high-caliber Chartered Accountant with 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience to join our finance leadership pipeline. You will be responsible for optimizing our liquidity, managing complex balance sheet exposures, and acting as a key player in our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and due diligence workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Working Capital & Cash Flow Mastery
- Liquidity Optimization: Analyze and manage the operating cycle (DSO, DPO, and DIO) to unlock trapped cash and improve the company's current ratio.
- Cash Flow Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present Indirect and Direct Cash Flow Statements, providing deep-dive variance analysis against budgeted projections.
- Treasury Support: Monitor daily cash positions and manage short-term investments or borrowing requirements to ensure seamless operations.
2. M&A and Financial Due Diligence
- Deal Support: Assist in the end-to-end M&A process, including the preparation of "Data Rooms" and reviewing Information Memorandums.
- Due Diligence (DD): Execute financial due diligence on target companies, identifying "Quality of Earnings" issues, undisclosed liabilities, and synergy potential.
- Valuation Support: Help build and stress-test financial models (DCF, Multiples) to support investment decisions.
3. Balance Sheet Management & Risk
- Exposure Analysis: Monitor and manage Balance Sheet exposure, including foreign exchange (FX) risks, interest rate sensitivity, and debt covenants.
- Asset-Liability Management: Ensure the health of the balance sheet through rigorous reconciliation, impairment testing, and fixed asset management.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure all reporting is in strict accordance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS / Ind-AS / US GAAP).
Technical Competencies
- Advanced Financial Modeling: Ability to link P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements dynamically in Excel.
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to spot trends, anomalies, and "red flags" within large datasets.
- ERP Proficiency: Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Power BI.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Experience: 2–3 years in Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory (Big 4 preferred), or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for the Board and Executive leadership.
- Drive: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple "deal" deadlines simultaneously.
