Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and compliance operations for a high-volume e-commerce and distribution business. This role is critical to maintaining financial accuracy and control as the company scales its brand partner relationships and multi-channel sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers with regular reconciliation
Reconciliations & Claims
- Perform bank, marketplace (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart), and payment gateway reconciliations
- Support claims and recovery processes with brand partners — tracking discrepancies, chargebacks, and short payments to closure
- Investigate and resolve mismatches between sales data, inventory, and financial records
Compliance & Statutory
- Assist with GST filings, TDS deductions/returns, and other statutory compliance requirements
- Maintain documentation for audits (statutory, internal, and brand partner audits)
- Ensure timely and accurate book closures in line with regulatory timelines
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare periodic MIS reports (sales, expenses, cash flow, aging) for management review
- Support monthly/quarterly book closing activities
- Assist in budget tracking and variance analysis
Payroll & General Accounting
- Support payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations in coordination with HR
- Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of the trial balance
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping using accounting software (Tally/Zoho Books/similar)
Requirements
Education
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
- Candidates who have completed CA articleship (with or without final qualification) will also be considered
Experience
- 3–5 years post-articleship/qualification experience in accounting/finance roles; freshly qualified CAs or those with strong articleship exposure are welcome to apply
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or distribution businesses preferred
- Experience with brand partner claims and recovery processes is a strong plus
- Prior exposure to marketplace reconciliations (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.) is highly desirable
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance (GST, TDS)
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software; strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and comfort working with large transaction volumes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple reconciliations/deadlines simultaneously
- Good communication skills for coordinating with vendors, brand partners, and internal teams
What We Offer
- Opportunity to build finance processes at a fast-scaling e-commerce business
- Direct exposure to a global brand partnership and its commercial/claims operations
- A collaborative, high-ownership work environment
