Role Description The Finance Manager at Vijaya Viva is a full-time, on-site role based in Kottarakara. This role involves overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The Finance Manager monitors revenue and expenses, prepares regular financial reports, and ensures compliance with hospital policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations. Responsibilities include managing cash flow, supervising billing and collections, coordinating audits, and supporting cost control initiatives across departments. The Finance Manager partners with senior leadership to provide data-driven insights, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to long-term financial stability of the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Experience working with financial software, spreadsheets, and hospital or healthcare finance systems.
- Ability to lead and supervise finance staff, coordinate with multiple departments, and manage deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a professional certification (such as CA, CMA, CPA, or MBA in Finance) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in healthcare, hospital finance, or a similar service-based industry is preferred.
