Job Title: Finance Manager / Executive – Strategic Finance, Automation & Zoho Stack (Individual Contributor)

SureDrive Assist is India’s most agile and fast-scaling mobility-tech + InsurTech startup, driving RSA (Roadside Assistance), VAS (Value-Added Services), and bundled motor insurance solutions across multiple regions in Tier 1, 2, 3, and deep rural regions.
As we scale nationally, we're looking for a finance champion who can go beyond traditional accounting and enable leadership with automated reports, strategic dashboards, and financial storytelling using tools like Zoho, Tally, and Razorpay.
Your Mission
To own, automate, and evolve the financial engine of SureDrive Assist. You’ll not only manage numbers — you’ll translate them into business insights, build scalable processes, and create transparency at every layer.
Key Responsibilities
Core Finance & Ops
- Manage payouts to vendors, sales partners, and collaborators under defined SOP
- Handle Cash/Credit Wallets, Razorpay reconciliation, and bank account mapping
- Oversee invoice creation, GST compliance, payout logs, and expense validation
- Build internal control SOPs for all finance-related operations
Reporting & Dashboarding (Automation-First)
- Own the setup of finance dashboards, MIS reports, and reconciliation workflows
- Build automated reports with live inputs from Zoho Books, Razorpay, and internal CRMs
- Create monthly/quarterly review decks (PPT) with commentary for founders/board
Insights for Leadership
- Provide timely and accurate tracking of:
- Revenue and Gross/Net Margin
- Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
- Operating Expenses (OPEX)
- Cash Flow, Burn Rate, and EBITDA
- Break-even analysis and Unit Economics
- Maintain live Assumptions Sheet and prepare multiple Scenario Models (optional but ideal)
Zoho Ecosystem & Documentation
- Must be fluent with Zoho Books, Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Payroll, Zoho People etc.
- Coordinate and document SOPs across payouts, cost approvals, and financial flows
- Maintain a financial compliance tracker across all stakeholders
Ownership-First Culture
- Lead partner onboarding financial reviews — ensure bank docs, payout terms, TDS/GST rules are met
- Take ownership of all finance-related presentations and reporting for investor/internal use
- Work with tech/product teams to integrate finance modules into our apps/dashboards
Must-Have Skills
- 2–5 years in a startup finance, F&A, or automation-heavy role
- Hands-on with Zoho tools (especially Books, CRM, and Payroll) or quick learner
- Experience in automating dashboards/MIS using Zoho/Excel/Google Sheets
- Tally, Razorpay/Payment Gateway & Reconciliation expertise
- Fluent in GST, TDS, invoice flow, bank account mapping
- Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint) and ability to write internal SOPs & policy documents
- Prior experience working cross-functionally with Tech/Product teams
