On The Rocks is a UK-based Frozen Food Distributor and Wholesaler, supplying premium ice creams, frozen foods, beverages, and packaging to retail and food-service partners across the United Kingdom.
To support our growing UK business, we are establishing a Finance and Operations Support Center in Hyderabad, India
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead the finance function in our Hyderabad office and work closely with the UK finance leadership team to ensure accurate reporting, strong financial governance, and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting:
Manage end-to-end accounting operations for the UK business using Zoho Books, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Supervise bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations.
Review and finalize monthly trial balances, balance sheet schedules, profit & loss statements, and ledger reconciliations.
Monitor financial performance and provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
Financial Planning & Reporting
-Prepare monthly management reports (MIS), financial forecasts, and cash-flow statements for leadership.
-Work closely with the UK finance team on group consolidation, budgeting, and financial planning.
-Develop financial controls, cost monitoring systems, and performance tracking mechanisms.
-Provide financial analysis to support business growth and operational decisions.
Compliance & Financial Governance
-Ensure proper financial processes, documentation, and internal controls are maintained.
-Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal and external audits.
-Support financial compliance for intercompany transactions and cross-border reporting.
-Vendor & Stakeholder Management
-Manage supplier and customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
-Work with internal teams to ensure financial discipline and cost efficiency.
-Team Leadership & Process Improvement
-Ensure timely completion of financial tasks in line with global reporting timelines.
What We’re Looking For
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred).
-5–8 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally supporting international businesses.
-Strong experience with Zoho Books, accounting systems, and advanced Excel.
-Knowledge of UK accounting practices, VAT, or international financial reporting will be an advantage.
-Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
-Ability to manage confidential financial information and meet strict deadlines.
