Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance and analyze variances against budget and targets.
- Build and track key financial KPIs to measure business performance.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and profitability.
Executive & Board Reporting
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for leadership and global management.
- Present financial insights, trends, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Support leadership with data-driven recommendations for business decisions.
Strategic Finance Leadership
- Partner with the leadership team to drive financial strategy and growth initiatives.
- Evaluate business investments, expansion opportunities, and pricing strategies.
- Support commercial teams with profitability analysis and cost optimization.
Financial Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, financial policies, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain strong financial discipline and transparency within the organization.
Cost Management & Profitability
- Lead cost monitoring initiatives across functions.
- Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising business growth.
- Conduct product-wise and channel-wise profitability analysis.
Accounting Oversight
- Supervise accounting operations including reporting, reconciliations, and closing processes.
- Ensure accuracy in financial statements and management reporting.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) expertise
- Experience in building financial KPIs and performance dashboards
- Ability to prepare executive and board-level financial reports
- Strategic thinking and business partnering capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and stakeholder management abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Qualifications
- CA / MBA Finance / Equivalent professional qualification
- 6–10 years of experience in finance & leadership roles
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or lubricant industry preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are a plus
- Previous experience in a financial management role is required
