Gorlan India is part of the Global Gorlan Group based out of Spain and is in the business of providing LV switching solutions catering to the needs of the Energy, Residential/Commercial, Industrial & Rail industries for the South Asia region with specific focus on the growing India Market. We have an aspiration to grow significantly by expanding our offerings and we’re in search of an experienced Finance manager to manage our overall finance function covering P&L, Balance sheet, Accounting, reporting to Board and partnering with Auditors for auditing & compliance. The role will be reporting to the CEO of Gorlan India.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management.
- Oversee and manage all financial activities of the company, including accounting, treasury, and cost control
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring that financial objectives are met. Work cross functionally with different teams to push for meeting or exceeding financial objectives
2. Financial Analysis.
- Carry out the financial monthly closing and prepare financial reports for management, board of directors and headquarters.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify opportunities for improvement and propose actions to increase the profitable of the company by driving actions from different cross functional teams with the support of CEO
3. Regulatory Compliance.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting and tax regulations.
- Coordinate external audits and manage the relationship with the auditors.
- Relationship with external advisors and insurance broker.
4. Financial Planning.
- Participate in long-term financial planning and the growth strategy of the company working with the CEO
- Evaluate investment projects and conduct financial feasibility analysis and support the growth initiatives of the company
5. Interdepartmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to align financial objectives with the overall goals of the company.
- Provide financial support in strategic decision-making.
Required skills and qualification:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience of 3 to 5 years in financial roles, preferably in an auditing firm or medium size company involved in manufacturing and sales within India region.
- Solid knowledge in accounting, financial analysis, and budget management.
- Skills in using financial software and data analysis tools. (Also Excell, word and power point)
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to a multicultural environment.
- Proactive and results-oriented attitude.
Preferred skills and Qualification
- MBA with specialization in finance
- Worked in the finance function of MNC operating out of India
