Role Description The Finance Manager role at Engineers Horizon is a full-time, on-site position based in Mulshi, responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for ongoing and upcoming real estate projects. The person in this role will monitor project costs, prepare financial reports and dashboards, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, managing accounts payable and receivable, coordinating with banks and financial institutions, and supporting funding and investment decisions. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with project, sales, and leadership teams to align financial strategies with business goals, optimize returns, and maintain accurate, timely financial records. The role also involves contributing to risk assessments, improving financial processes, and implementing systems that support transparent, data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for project-based businesses.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare dashboards and MIS reports, and support strategic decision-making.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software, advanced Excel skills, and comfort with digital tools and automation.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Previous experience in real estate or construction finance, project costing, and working with banks or financial institutions is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present financial insights to management in a clear, concise manner.
